Maine

I recently got back from filming in Sedgwick, Maine. I was working on a project for Why Hunger, a hunger/grassroots community empowerment organization based in New York. In Maine, I was hanging out with Bob from Food For Maine’s Future and learning about the importance of community farming how how it is being revitalized in Maine. It’s amazing to see this stuff in action. Had some of the best home-grown meals I’ve tasted in a long time. Great people, amazing scenery, I want to go back.

Bethany 16 & Pregnant PSA

Bethany: 16 & Pregnant PSA

I shot this promo for Bethany Christian Services (Grand Rapids, MI) with Catelynn and Tyler from MTV’s 16 and Pregnant reality tv show.

Catalina Adventures

Had an amazing weekend this weekend out in Catalina with the boys from Hatcher and a few other Seattle and LA friends. Went fishing, saw a ton of dolphins and seals, and made fish tacos on a secluded campsite. Boooom

Tubular, Bro

Jeremy Searle and I were location scouting in San Diego and snapped this shot. Super tubular, bro.

Vern Yip Windows Makeover

I shot this reality-ish spot this past summer with Hatcher Marketing. It features Vern Yip. We were all crammed into a very small room in the peak of Arizona summer, sweating and swearing profusely. Ahh, the memories. 5D MK II

Ken and Sam’s Wedding

This past weekend a friend of mine (KEN X) asked me to shoot his wedding. It was just too photogenic not to post onto the interwebs.

Back From Ethiopia

Well, at this point I’ve been to Africa 4 times now (which is amazing) but I’ve only been to Ethiopia and not any other country in Africa. So, my Africa viewpoint is fairly limited to the northwestern region. Each trip has taught me something different about the Ethiopian culture and ultimately myself. The thing that struck me is past time was that I was face-to-face with hundreds of kids with AIDS. It’s easy to hear about AIDS and think you have a fairly decent understanding of it, but it’s a lot tougher actually experiencing it around you. This past trip was with Bethany (who has sent me all over the world) and was focusing on their child sponsorship programs.

Outro

I’ve been working on cool highly-visual side project called Outro with a friend of mine, and I wanted to share a still from it. More to come…. pretty excited about how this is going to turn out.
